A ten-minute dark comedy inspired by Jackson Browne's song, The Pretender, that follows an aspiring writer who is is paralyzed by fear of failure and generally unhappy with his life. As his lack of commitment drives his wife away from him, the digital voices of Alexa and Siri become more and more real.
